Me and My Characters
This is it. Talking to Mark. Tell me something, anything, and I will respond.
I have been writing for thirty years, married, two children, retired professor. Writing has been my first love since forever. I now have the time to pursue it and still feed my family. My literary world is very small; me and a windowless little office in my basement. I am getting into the world of web site and blog. I know very little about either and would appreciate others helping me to move forward. In turn, I will do what I can you aid you and your endeavors. I have finally found some voice and have put it in print via, ‘last Of The Good Guys’. Although it is on Amazon.com it has sold no copies yet. I am working on a second novel, ‘Eat The Dead.’
Bobby Rafferty Updates All Of Us - One Day He Will Return - It is six months since my adventures in South Texas and Northern Mexico. I live in southern California at the moment. Me, Rachel and my daughter in a house by the ocean. I have found a happiness there that I never expected or felt I deserved. I am involved with her club and my personal background fits in very nicely. I guess you could say I am in charge of the muscle there. There have been no repercussions from the Texas fiasco, partly because we disappeared before anyone (other than the dead ones) really knew we were there, but mostly because I don’t think Texas law cares too much about bad guys dying - The cowboy in them, I guess.
Mark Has More To Say - But Briefly, Thank God - This is a writers blog. My way to reach out to other writers who are lost in space. This web site is intended to promote my writing and that of other fiction writers. I do not write pretty world stuff. I write about my experiences, and although they might not qualify me for the New York Times bestseller list, at least it qualifies me as a writer of how life is as oposed to how we are all supposed to see it. Join me, talk to me. I will support you and what you do and ask that you support me and what I do. I have one novel, ‘Last Of The Good Guys’ and am presently working on novel two, ‘Eat the Dead’.

Here it comes: Born in late 1944 in a collapsed bomb shelter in Eastern Europe. Him, his mother and thirteen dead nuns. I guess you can start to imagine the kind of life this baby was about to experience.
